Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolDong Xu is a Software Development Manager with 11+ years industry experience and a Ph.D. in computer graphics from Zhejiang University, currently leading Autodesk's AutoCAD graphics efforts in Shanghai. He began as a senior graphics engineer solving CAD challenges—interactive tone-mapping, low-distortion texture mapping, per-pixel lighting, and precision rendering for very large 3D coordinates—and later built the in-canvas UI foundation by architecting a transient graphics system from scratch. Dong blends deep research roots (including an internship at Microsoft Research Asia) with product-focused engineering and team leadership, driving modernization of legacy graphics platforms while shipping advanced 3D modeling features. Colleagues know him for tackling numerical and perceptual problems in large-scale CAD visualization and for evolving systems to support both organic modeling and modern UI workflows.
