Summary
👤
SeniorDonnie Cameron is a Senior DevOps Engineer with 15 years of experience building data-driven systems and production infrastructure across startups and enterprise teams. He blends deep programming roots (including Lisp and Perl) with modern DevOps practices to deploy scalable services and wrangle very large, unstructured datasets. Donnie has held staff and senior engineering roles at companies like Sight Machine and Windfall and now focuses on platform reliability and automation at Ivanti. He has led engineering teams, designed AI-enabled text processing and large document retrieval systems, and migrated legacy stacks toward Node.js and cloud-native patterns. Curious about neural networks, he experiments with ML approaches to extract structure from noisy data while keeping an eye on pragmatic, test-driven delivery. Based in Manteca, California, he pairs an engineer’s tinkering mindset with a track record of shipping robust systems for complex data problems.
