Dorin Xevious
Freelance Consultant, Integration
Tel-Aviv District, Israel
Summary
👤
SeniorDorin Xevious is a freelance integration consultant and systems engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience across Linux and Solaris environments, virtualization, and software-defined storage. He founded and grew a successful hosting business (Hetz Biz) through operational rigor and later transitioned to consulting for clients like ECI Telecom, Walla Networks and Avaya on architecture, deployment and testing. Deep in the stack, he combines package- and distribution-level Linux expertise with scripting, codec integration and community-facing open-source participation—having worked on FFmpeg-related A/V tooling and distribution rebuilds. Dorin advises on virtualization stacks (ESXi, Xen, KVM, OpenStack) and storage technologies (ZFS, Ceph, VSAN), blending strategic recommendations with hands-on implementation. Based in the Tel Aviv district, he is as comfortable negotiating open-source licenses and community processes as he is tuning production systems for performance and reliability.
