Senior🎓
Top SchoolDouglas Fraser is an R&D consultant and former senior software engineer with over two decades of hands-on experience who now focuses on AI, machine learning, NLP and graph databases for feasibility and research-led projects. He has led and prototyped complex systems across domains—from rail delay propagation and contingency planning to climate time-series platforms—combining novel graph visualizations and expert systems with practical engineering. Comfortable from low-level C++ real-time systems to modern Python/FastAPI and Node.js stacks, he repeatedly bridges research and production, having built Hadoop/MLFlow pipelines, Neo4j/TigerGraph solutions, and Timescale/Postgres backends. Notable non-obvious strengths include devising multivariate graph layouts for rail delay analysis and a habit of turning academic research into working prototypes and grant-winning proposals. Based in Norwich, UK, he also maintains an active personal research track (NLP Feature Set Toolkit) that feeds into publishable work.
