Top SchoolDouglas Kayama is a seasoned software engineer, engineering manager and founder with 16 years of experience building mobile and web products and scaling teams across startups and large tech companies. Based in São Paulo, he has led and grown mobile organizations, coached multiple engineers into management, and delivered product areas like onboarding experiments, a mobile app rewrite, and a mail inbox for messaging teams. He combines hands-on Android and full-stack engineering roots with formal business analytics and AI training (Executive MBA in Business Analytics & Big Data and an MSc in AI underway), allowing him to bridge product, data and ML-driven decisions. As an instructor and mentor at Softex TrendsIT and founder of Café Linear Tech & Dev, he blends teaching, consulting and entrepreneurship to amplify talent and delivery. A longtime tinkerer, his early work spans embedded C/C++ and cryptography for mobile platforms—an uncommon depth that informs his system-level perspective today.
