Drew Kirkman
Director Of Engineering - Radio Cincinnati
Cincinnati Metropolitan Area United States
Summary
👤
SeniorDrew Kirkman is a broadcast engineering and IT leader with over a decade of hands-on experience managing FM/HD radio operations and enterprise IT infrastructure in the Cincinnati market. As Director of Engineering for Hubbard Broadcasting’s Radio Cincinnati cluster, he oversees studio air chains, AoIP networks, RF transmission plants, and a multi-station automation environment while managing budgets and staff development. He pairs deep broadcast systems know-how—Nautel, Harris, Omnia, Axia, HD Radio—with enterprise skills in VMware vSAN hyper-converged clusters, Microsoft 365 hybrid environments, and Cisco networking. Drew’s background in large K–12 IT deployments taught him to automate identity and device workflows at scale and to integrate disparate systems reliably under tight SLAs. Comfortable both in the transmitter room and the data center, he’s equally likely to bench-test an FM transmitter or script an Active Directory automation to streamline operations.
