Senior🎓
Top SchoolDuncan Mcdougall is a Lead UI Developer with 13–14 years of experience crafting high-performance, responsive web applications using a modern TypeScript/React stack. He has led frontend teams and design-system work across financial and enterprise projects at organisations like ACCA, Exizent and CreditSights, and now heads UI at 55/Redefined while freelancing through Belter Solutions. Known for obsessing over performance optimization and testable UI (Cypress, Jest, Testing Library), he bridges designer intent and scalable implementation with Next.js and serverless patterns. Based in Annan, Scotland, Duncan combines deep frontend expertise with a pragmatic, product-focused approach and a history of shipping white-label and customer-facing portals. An early background in .NET and long tenure across boutique and corporate teams gives him a practical edge in integrating legacy systems with modern frontends.
