Top SchoolDustin Pearson is a pragmatic engineering leader with 8 years of experience scaling product and data teams for health and cloud platforms, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Atria Health and Research Institute. He built and restructured Nutrisense’s fully remote org from 5 to 17 engineers, launched security and compliance programs (SOC 2, HIPAA), and led applied AI efforts—improving meal image recognition and deploying LLM-based RAG chatbots on proprietary data. His background includes hands-on full‑stack delivery at AWS (CodeGuru integrations, Java/React services) and production-focused data stacks (BigQuery, dbt, Airbyte) that bridge product, analytics, and ops. Known for developing engineers into managers and creating hiring pipelines, he combines operational rigor with a curiosity for practical ML applications that directly improve user engagement.
