Top SchoolDwaine Best is a Senior Experience Engineer in San Diego with eight years of experience melding visual design and front-end engineering to build employee-facing portals and web products for Fortune 500 clients, academia, and government. He brings a craftsman’s attention to pixel-perfect Figma-to-code implementations and has led six portal projects while contributing to over 20 mobile and portal builds using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node, AngularJS, HTML5, and SASS. Comfortable managing sprints, design handoffs, user testing, deployment, and support, he also mentors junior developers and advises clients on practical best practices. His background in fine art and museum studies informs a strong aesthetic sense—demonstrated by prior gallery and production-art roles—so he approaches UIs with both creative direction and engineering rigor.
