Summary
🤩
RockstarDylan Martin is an engineering leader with 10 years of experience building product-focused, full-stack systems and leading distributed teams from startup founding roles to mature product organizations. Currently the Engineering Team Lead for PostHog’s feature flags, he combines hands-on coding (Haskell, Scala, TypeScript) with product-minded ownership to ship reliable features at scale. Dylan has been a founding/principal engineer at multiple startups, architecting LiveOps, consumer web/mobile experiences on top of LLMs, and international payments systems, and he co-maintains functional programming libraries from his earlier Scala work. Fastidious and precise in his craft, he pairs deep technical breadth—frontend, backend, infra—with a knack for turning complex domain data into useful products. Based in Seattle, he brings a physics background and an unusual cross-disciplinary curiosity (film studies and bioinformatics experience) that informs pragmatic, well-tested engineering decisions.
