Senior🎓
Top SchoolEduard Kukuy is a product-focused software engineer with 11 years’ experience designing and delivering backend systems, currently building software-orchestrated factories at Daedalus. He has led and mentored small engineering teams, shaped backend architectures used by a dozen+ engineers, and introduced event-driven and “you build it, you run it” practices to improve scalability and ownership. A generalist with deep experience in distributed systems, infrastructure, algorithms, and even robotics, he consistently breaks large projects into iterative releases to accelerate time-to-market. He has hands-on experience running complex, zero-downtime migrations and improving maintainability by removing unnecessary services. Passionate about space exploration and human–machine interaction, Eduard also brings perspective from his history as an OpenStreetMap contributor. Based in Karlsruhe, he combines product sensibility with pragmatic execution to turn complex systems into reliable, production-ready services.
