Senior🎓
Top SchoolEduardo Maçan is a seasoned software engineering leader with over eight years in senior roles and a long technical pedigree dating back to childhood programming and early Unix/DevOps work. Currently Director of Software Engineering at Creditas and formerly leading multi-tribe engineering at Grupo OLX, he specializes in designing reusable platform components, API governance, and post-merger technical consolidations that delivered millions in recurring cost savings. He built and scaled Globo's identity platform to support massive real-time authentication events and led migration to open standards and privacy-by-design practices for DGPL/LGPD compliance. Eduardo combines hands-on technical depth (from systems and cryptography to ML research) with strategic MBA- and executive-education-backed business acumen. He has a track record of turning M&A and product complexity into measurable engineering outcomes—reducing time-to-market for new verticals from months to days. A subtle differentiator: he pairs large-scale platform modernization with people-focused practices, including diverse-hiring initiatives and mentoring engineering pipelines.
