Edward Han
Software Developer Engineer at Amazon
Old Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolEdward Han is a Software Development Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience building production services and shipping features across startups and Amazon. Based in Old Toronto, he blends strong TypeScript expertise with container-focused deployments and a knack for debugging—hence the self-styled "Bug Slayer" and "Container Whisperer" monikers. His trajectory includes multiple engineering roles and internships at Amazon and full-stack development at onova, complemented by iOS work and project leadership in UofT Blueprint. As a University of Toronto Computer Science student, he pairs academic rigor with real-world product delivery, often moving between hands-on coding and coordinating teams. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic problem-solving and quick iteration cycles that reduce time-to-production. Less obvious: he balances deep systems thinking with developer ergonomics, favoring tooling and patterns that make teams faster, not just code cleaner.
