He currently leads mobile development at REA Group, driving platform-level improvements, CI/CD maturity and scalable Swift-centric architectures. Edward has a track record of modernising large apps—migrating legacy Objective-C codebases to 100% Swift, introducing dark mode support and enabling one-click deploys—while coaching teams in TDD, code review and release estimation. Comfortable in both product and technical leadership, he has shipped major features and architecture overhauls at SEEK, Catch and ANZ clients. With a dual background in engineering and computer science from the University of Melbourne, he blends system-level thinking from mechatronics with pragmatic mobile engineering.
