Senior🎓
Top SchoolEfstathios Siatras is an ML Research Engineer with eight years of experience bridging academic research and industry-grade ML systems, currently focused on predictive modeling for patient deterioration at Circadia Health and domain-aware red teaming at Apart Research. His work spans machine reading comprehension, dataset creation (notably GreekQA), and applied ML in maritime digitalization where he built vessel performance models and anomaly detectors on billion-point sensor streams. He completed an MSc at UCL working on self- and inter-model correction for complex reasoning under Prof. Tim Rocktäschel and earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Athens. Comfortable across the ML lifecycle, he combines data engineering, MLOps, and fine-tuning of language models for multi- and cross-lingual tasks. Colleagues describe him as someone who moves smoothly between research questions and production constraints, often coordinating annotators and end-to-end pipelines to turn linguistic resources into evaluated models. Based in the UK, he brings an uncommon mix of domain depth (maritime, healthcare) and hands-on QA dataset creation that accelerates both experiments and deployments.
