Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolEgor Utrobin is an engineering manager with nearly a decade of experience leading high-impact platform and cloud teams, currently driving developer tooling and AI-assisted UX at Yandex Cloud. He combines hands-on architecture work—designing gRPC-based MCP servers, Serverless Workflows, and a browser SSH/Cloud Shell built on CDC patterns—with people leadership, scaling teams rapidly and instituting structured discovery and delivery. His work on code generators for CLI and Terraform providers slashed time-to-market from weeks to days and materially reduced company-wide engineering effort. Previously he led large-scale migrations and public APIs for Yandex.Taxi and built frontend platforms for AliExpress and Mail.Ru, showing fluency across frontend, backend, and infra. A Bauman alum and Yandex School of Data Analysis student, he also founded a small company and maintains active Python backend practice, blending product focus with pragmatic engineering craft.
