Top SchoolEilin Castillo is a Senior Software Engineer based in Madrid with a decade of experience building backend systems and leading cross-functional teams. She has strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot microservices, migrations from legacy systems (Oracle Forms) to modern platforms like Dynamics 365, and cloud integrations using Azure Functions and OpenShift. As a technical lead she has defined microfrontend scaffolding with Angular 16, owned architecture decisions, and bridged business and engineering to remove blockers and streamline delivery. Her work has improved billing and refund performance by around 25% and she routinely combines hands-on coding with Scrum leadership, interviewing and onboarding. Colleague-focused and pragmatic, she brings both deep implementation skills and a knack for translating operational needs into resilient, testable systems.
