Top SchoolElias Sepuru is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years’ experience modernising legacy systems and delivering high-performance web and back-end solutions across banking, research, and business intelligence. He architects and implements scalable microservices and APIs using Spring Boot, Java 21, Angular, and Django, and leads DevOps adoption—introducing CI/CD, automated testing, and peer review cultures. His work spans big-data transfer and discovery (iRODS, Globus), enterprise analytics integration (PowerBI), and production reliability improvements that cut downtime dramatically. A committed mentor and educator, he has guided students and junior engineers, represented research at CHPC, and driven award-winning innovation at FNB. Based in Johannesburg, he combines an electrical and information engineering background with a practical open-source mindset (Linux Foundation supporter) and a focus on accessibility, security, and measurable business impact. Notably, he pairs hands-on coding with systems-level thinking—optimising both developer workflow and large-scale data movement.
