Top SchoolEllian O is a results-driven Software Development Engineer II with 8 years of experience building event-driven, cloud-native systems that operate at scale across Latin America. At Amazon he designs CQRS and event-sourced architectures processing 100M+ events/month and led an observability strategy that uncovered an anomaly preventing a R$5M loss. Previously at CI&T he architected microservices and serverless solutions handling millions of daily requests, introduced saga patterns and reduced operational risk through knowledge-sharing and onboarding initiatives. He combines a strong theoretical foundation from USP with hands-on expertise in DynamoDB, Neptune graph modeling, TypeScript, and scalable frontends, having improved GraphQL latencies by 80% in past roles. Known for pragmatic, frugal engineering—such as an account-orchestration tool that saved R$1M—and a passion for mentoring, he makes complex compliance and customer-facing systems both reliable and operable. Based in São Paulo, he blends robotics-rooted problem-solving with production-grade software craftsmanship.
