👤
SeniorElliot Evans is a Lead Frontend Developer and contract Full Stack engineer with around a decade of commercial experience, specialising in TypeScript, React, Node and high-performance services in Go. He runs Tree Thunk for freelance engagements and has led front-end and full-stack architecture for enterprise clients across e-commerce, finance, automotive and fintech. Elliot pairs a quality-first, accessibility-minded approach with hands-on delivery—from marketing sites to data-heavy internal tools and React Native mobile apps—having shipped projects spanning IE8-era compatibility to modern server components. As a mentor ranked in the top 3% on MentorCruise, he regularly coaches junior and mid-level engineers while steering engineering practices and design systems. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, he’s open to remote contracts across the UK, EU, US and Asia and brings a rare combination of apprenticeship-honed pragmatism and recent leadership at consultancies and product teams.
