Top SchoolEmeric Pageau is a product-focused software engineer with 11 years of experience building and operationalizing web services and developer infrastructure from startup prototypes to enterprise-grade systems. At Ubisoft Montréal he moved from senior online programmer—designing CI/CD pipelines, AWS/ECS infrastructure and monitoring platforms—to product specialist, where he now shapes product vision, runs user training and crafts demos for studio adoption. His background spans backend development in Python and PHP, event-driven architectures with Kafka, and hands-on OpenStack work, giving him a rare blend of low-level cloud experience and product sensibility. He repeatedly drives process improvements—bootstrapping projects, standardizing monitoring and automating deployments—to shorten delivery cycles and raise release quality. Based in Montreal, he also pursues freelance videography, reflecting a creative streak that informs his clear product communication and demo craftsmanship.
