Emil Romanus
CEO at Farang
Stockholm, Sweden
Summary
👤
SeniorEmil Romanus is a self-taught engineer, mathematician and serial founder who has spent the past decade turning research-grade AI into commercial products and prototypes. He built his first search engine at 12 and monetized it at 15, went on to bootstrap a $1M-revenue mobile gaming product, and has led multiple AI companies including Teorem and OASIS. As CEO of Farang and former Chief Scientist roles, he blends deep learning research with product-focused engineering for clients across banks, governments and startups. Emil favors impact over technology for its own sake and is adept at teaching himself new disciplines to move projects from idea to production. Based in Stockholm, he combines entrepreneurial grit with hands-on ML expertise in generative models and practical AI deployment. An early mover in mobile and AI, he repeatedly converts cutting-edge techniques into real-world value.
