Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolEmre Turan is a seasoned engineering leader and founder with over a decade of hands-on and executive experience building cloud-native, high-throughput systems across startups and scale-ups. Currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Oxford, he directs engineering organizations at BetterUp after leading 14 cross-functional teams (~130 engineers) at Getir and guiding the technical due diligence and integration for Gorillas’ $1B acquisition. He has run CTO-level product and platform work at UNL—shipping geospatial routing and geocoding infrastructure—and scaled teams and CI/CD across multi-cloud environments at Deloitte and other firms. Known for combining product-minded technical stewardship with people-first engineering culture, he has a track record of reducing turnover and accelerating delivery velocity. A serial founder and early app entrepreneur, he launched and monetized a consumer app with over a million downloads, demonstrating both go-to-market instincts and technical delivery. Based in the Randstad, he mentors cloud architecture and IaC best practices and brings rare depth in distributed systems, Kubernetes, Terraform, and multi-cloud operations.
