Top SchoolEoghan O'neill is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building cloud-native systems and data pipelines, currently working at Chainguard after a senior engineering role at Randori/IBM. He combines a background in physics with hands-on expertise in Go, Python, Kubernetes, gRPC, PostgreSQL, and observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) to design performant, deployable microservices and scale processing pipelines. Eoghan has driven platform decoupling into independent Helm charts, implemented data-expunging and tracing end-to-end, and led time-sensitive integration projects while improving org-wide Git proficiency. His earlier roles span WebRTC/SIP gateway engineering, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and automation that modernized legacy voice systems. A recovering physicist and avid caver, he brings analytical rigor and a taste for solving constrained, physical-world problems to software design.
