Top SchoolEr Galvão is a seasoned technology leader and current CTO based in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with 13 years of professional experience and a long track record of hands-on software development since the late 1990s. He combines deep PHP and backend expertise with leadership in product delivery, process improvement and AppSec, having led branching strategies, release management and semi-automated pentesting for diverse clients. A recognized open-source advocate and contributor to PHP and the Laminas Project, he also serves as director for major Brazilian tech conferences and was the country’s first Postman Supernova. He has coached and elevated engineering teams through code reviews, pair programming and mentoring across startups, edtech and enterprise contexts. Beyond coding, he designs practical architecture and compliance solutions (including LGPD-focused tooling) and runs his own consultancy delivering training and audits for banks, universities and public data companies. That blend of community leadership, security-aware engineering and continuous operational improvement makes him a pragmatic CTO who still ships code.
