Summary
👤
SeniorEric Barnhill is a Staff Clinical Research Data Scientist with over a decade of experience applying biomedical signal processing, data engineering, and statistical modeling to clinical research. He builds robust pipelines and interactive visualizations to turn contemporary sensor and imaging data into actionable insights for clinical teams, currently supporting trials at Dexcom and consulting for iRhythm. With a PhD in Medical Physics and a track record shipping research software (including the web pipeline MREdge and ImageJ tools from his PhD work), he blends rigorous academic methods with production-grade engineering. He’s an Apache committer and brings open-source sensibilities to healthcare data problems, scaling analyses that handle large, noisy physiological datasets. A classically trained musician turned biomedical engineer, he leverages uncommon creative rigor and pattern recognition from music to detect subtle signals in human physiology.
