Top SchoolEric Eklund is a Senior Software Engineer based in Gothenburg with over five years of hands-on experience building backend systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures using Go, Java (SE/EE), Spring Boot and AWS serverless technologies. He has driven cloud launches and infrastructure-as-code initiatives (CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync) as a tech lead, and combines strong DevOps and CI/CD sensibilities with a pragmatic focus on fast, secure delivery. His background spans telecom and automotive domains where he implemented resilient distributed services, automated operations, and event-driven integrations. Eric is comfortable both leading teams and contributing as an individual engineer, introducing practices like mob/pair programming and trunk-based delivery to improve quality and throughput. He holds an AWS certification and a vocational degree in system development (Java), and is known for attention to detail, clear communication, and a collaborative coaching style. A practical learner, he quickly adopts new languages and patterns—recently mastering Go to simplify and slim down cloud service implementations.
