Eric Kohler
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Summary
Eric Kohler is a Senior Full Stack Developer in Vancouver with five years of experience crafting user-focused eCommerce and content sites using WordPress, Shopify, React/Next.js, and TypeScript. With a dual background in Computer Science and Visual Arts, he blends strong UI/UX sensibilities and Figma-driven design work into pixel-accurate implementations that frequently earn positive client and team feedback. He routinely partners with designers to convert detailed UI designs and user stories into maintainable front-end and back-end solutions, and he also keeps sites healthy through proactive maintenance. Beyond production work, Eric has taught full stack topics as a bootcamp TA and contributes a designer’s eye to technical decisions—helping bridge design intent and engineering realities.
