Top SchoolEric Nitschke is a founder and CEO with eight years of experience building open hardware, software, and EdTech solutions that empower underconnected communities to self-provision connectivity. Based in Prague, he leads Wakoma to design open-source connectivity stacks and educational resources that prioritize community-led deployment “at the first centimeter.” His background blends geosciences and political science with hands-on instructional design and advisory roles in urban upgrading and international development, giving him a rare mix of technical, pedagogical, and policy perspectives. Active in global innovation networks and advisory roles, he translates field-driven challenges into practical hardware and software artifacts that scale across low-resource contexts.
