Top SchoolEric Walker is a mid-career software developer with 11 years of experience building production systems across startups and larger firms, most recently in senior engineering roles at BOLD PENGUIN and Noldor. He prefers Rust and Ruby and looks for technical roles in SaaS and early-stage startups, bringing a pragmatic, hands-on approach to shipping reliable services. His background spans data engineering at PagerDuty, systems work originating from BigFix/IBM, and partner-level development at HolacracyOne, giving him fluency across infrastructure, backend services, and product-driven teams. Trained in both mathematics/computer science and human development (EdM from Harvard Graduate School of Education), he blends technical rigor with thoughtful communication and team coaching. Based in Loveland, Colorado, Eric is comfortable transitioning between legacy systems and modern stacks and has a track record of stepping into roles that need steady engineering leadership during growth or change. An atypical detail: his career began with policy analysis at the Baha'i World Centre, which informs a measured, systems-thinking perspective on technical and organizational design.
