Top SchoolErica Hughberg is a software engineering leader and community-focused product manager with a decade of experience building and advocating for API, gateway, and service mesh solutions that securely connect modern applications. Based in Atlanta, she blends hands-on platform engineering with product marketing and education, helping application teams bridge the “arrow between the boxes” — the often-overlooked integration layer that becomes critical in AI-powered systems. Her background spans API and CIAM platform builds at Addepar and leading API platform teams at BlackRock, giving her deep operational and security-first perspective on internet-facing systems. At Tetrate she combines industry engagement, content creation, and cross-functional alignment to translate real-world integration challenges into usable, observable solutions. She’s known for making complex platform concepts accessible to adopters and for treating observability and secure connectivity as first-class product features.
