Top SchoolErik Duarte is a Machine Learning Engineer and founder-CTO with seven years of experience building production-grade AI systems that tackle urban and enterprise problems across LATAM. As CEO & CTO of Builker, he architects end-to-end data platforms and computer vision products—most notably InmoData, a PropTech intelligence platform using BigQuery and PySpark to generate real-time market heatmaps, and Orbital Engine, a serverless GCP pipeline for satellite imagery processing. He combines hands-on model development and inference optimization (OpenVINO, PyTorch-style workflows) with product and venture-building expertise, shipping microservice APIs and cross-platform apps for real business impact. Based in Bogotá and studying Computer Science Engineering at Universidad de los Andes, he balances academic rigor with startup execution. A practical engineer who started coding at 12, Erik is as comfortable designing cloud-native architectures as he is tuning vision models for 98%+ production accuracy.
