Top SchoolErik Fox is a Staff Software Engineer in New York with 11 years building data-rich web platforms and developer-facing tools. He specializes in architecting knowledge-graph powered search and wiki-style discovery experiences, having led major initiatives at Spotify that combined generative AI, provenance/lineage, and browser-first design. Comfortable both as a technical owner and cross-team lead, Erik has driven CI/CD, containerized deployments, and rapid prototyping across startups and enterprises from Capital One to Mural. He started as a self-taught web creator and founder of a viral music site in high school, an early signal of his product instincts and ability to translate cultural context into scalable web products. Known for mixing hands-on engineering with community building—he led interview workgroups and ran a DJ club at Spotify—Erik brings a creative, systems-minded approach to complex data and UX problems.
