Top SchoolErik W is a Senior Software Development Engineer based in Phoenix with over a decade of hands-on experience building production-ready front-end applications and leading cross-functional teams. He specializes in Angular and Vue, has driven measurable improvements like a 20% reduction in development time through Git flow adoption, and has a strong track record of performance optimization and build-size reductions across multiple companies. Former Principal UI Engineer at General Motors and senior roles at IRELO and Rockwell demonstrate his ability to architect scalable front-end solutions and coordinate global releases. He pairs practical engineering with teaching and leadership experience—as an adjunct faculty and former CTO—bringing clarity to requirements, testing, and quality management. Equally comfortable writing build scripts, custom linting rules, or Git automation, Erik combines deep JavaScript curiosity with a penchant for tooling that speeds teams up. His background in both enterprise and small-business projects gives him a rare blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
