Top SchoolEthan Knox is a data and AI leader with 11 years of hands-on experience building modern data platforms, ML infrastructure, and generative AI systems for startups and enterprise insurers. Currently Associate Partner and VP of Data & AI at Augment Risk, he focuses on durable, scalable solutions for reinsurance problems that are often deemed "un-automatable." He has founded and led multiple ventures—shipping end-to-end data ecosystems, self-serve analytics, and proprietary LLMOps and observability tooling—and reduced model intent error rates while achieving sub-second production latencies. Comfortable across cloud-native stacks (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, AWS/GCP) and open-source-first ML workflows, he blends product sensitivity with engineering rigor. Based in Philadelphia, he pairs a pragmatic maker mentality with a continuous-learning ethos—he quotes Alain de Botton on yearly reinvention and even peppers his GitHub bio with a bit of cricket fandom.
