Top SchoolEthan Steininger is a founder and CEO with a decade of engineering and go-to-market experience building search and data products for enterprises. After five years at MongoDB where he helped launch Atlas Search and closed enterprise deals, he founded Mixpeek to make unstructured, multimodal data searchable and cost-efficient across object storage. His background spans product engineering, computer vision, healthcare EHR migrations, and a prior startup focused on medical procedure ontologies, giving him deep domain fluency in data-heavy industries like media, healthcare, and ad tech. He combines hands-on technical leadership with commercial GTM instincts, often partnering with engineers and founders building on unstructured data. Based in New York, he emphasizes pragmatic pipelines—decompose, store across tiers, and reassemble—to turn messy files into actionable search features.
