Top SchoolEtienne Talbot is an engineering manager and front-end specialist with 11 years of experience building web teams and shipping product-focused UIs, currently leading developer growth and technical vision at Poka in Guelph. He helped build Poka’s web department from seed to acquisition, combining hands-on component development with hiring, tooling and architecture collaboration. Comfortable in agency and startup settings, he brings a pragmatic mix of mentorship, process-building and efficiency tooling to scale teams. His background in multimedia and film studies, plus certificates from HarvardX and MITx, give him a rare blend of design-minded thinking and formal CS and entrepreneurship training. Notably, he co-founded a local web community (HTML Québec) and has a track record of internal training and R&D that amplifies team capability beyond pure coding.
