Top SchoolEugene Baibourine is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building and scaling backend systems across startups and large enterprises, currently improving core productivity engineering at Netflix. He combines hands-on delivery—designing services, CI/CD, and developer portals—with people leadership, having hired and grown teams, led major tech consolidations, and managed cross-functional roadmaps. Eugene has driven measurable reliability and performance gains (resolving thousands of issues, fixing deadlocks, load-testing APIs) and modernized infra using Pulumi, GCP, and automated pipelines. Comfortable in both greenfield and legacy codebases, he pairs pragmatic engineering with strong collaboration across product, marketing, and sales. Based in Ann Arbor, he brings a chemical engineering background to systems thinking and a knack for turning messy technical debt into repeatable, scalable practices.
