Top SchoolEugene Lynch is a software engineer and attorney assistant with 11 years of multidisciplinary experience building production web systems, leading engineering teams, and litigating for criminal justice reform. He has led a seven-person team modernizing VA.gov, co-founded a 24/7 hotline platform linking arrestees to counsel, and shipped fintech integrations and ML-enabled payroll tools to simplify pre-tax benefits for working Americans. Equally comfortable in code and courtrooms, he has supported post-conviction and appellate work for public defender offices while contributing technical solutions for nonprofits and startups. His background includes hands-on engineering at JPL on microfluidic life-detection instruments and teaching bootcamp curricula, a mix that surfaces in pragmatic, human-centered product design. Based in Newark, NJ, he brings a rare blend of full-stack engineering, legal advocacy, and public-sector modernization experience.
