Eugenio Marchiori is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with 17 years of experience building large-scale web and AI systems, currently based in the Greater Madrid area. He blends deep engineering chops—from front-end contributions to the high-profile AMP project to system architecture—with strategic leadership roles at Google and startups, and now leads tech at Donnerstag.ai. As an adjunct professor of AI at IE University and a PhD candidate in Computer Science, he bridges research and product delivery, translating academic rigor into practical solutions. His career traces a steady progression from hands-on development (including pioneering work on the e-Adventure educational platform) to senior engineering and board-level roles, evidencing strong mentorship and cross-functional influence. Notably, his open-source contributions to AMP demonstrate attention to UX edge cases—like animation resumption and infinite-scroll behavior—underscoring a focus on practical front-end resilience. He combines entrepreneurial curiosity with a multidisciplinary background (including economics), making him adept at aligning technical roadmaps with business outcomes.
