Top SchoolEvan Lecompte is a pragmatic systems development engineer with 16 years building and operating scalable web and API platforms across e-commerce, enterprise data, and cloud services. Currently at AWS, he brings deep DevOps and full-stack chops—Node.js, Java/Spring, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud/Linux administration—built from roles at Staples, MassMutual, Localytics and others. He has repeatedly bridged product and sales engineering, creating custom integrations (Shopify, Salesforce, Google Ads) and technical demos that accelerate adoption. Comfortable from front-end AngularJS to backend databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and API gateways, he focuses on reliability and secure, automated delivery for high-traffic consumer systems. Notably, his background includes both hands-on system administration and developer-facing integration work, making him equally at home troubleshooting live incidents and designing long-term architecture.
