Senior🎓
Top SchoolEvan Moore is a seasoned software engineering manager with over two decades of experience delivering mission-critical and citizen-facing products, now leading engineering at PowerDMS by NEOGOV from North Bay, Ontario. He blends hands-on technical depth—from embedded real-time systems and NORAD radar software to modern web and mobile stacks like Angular, Ionic, .NET Core and GraphQL—with a strong emphasis on user engagement, maintainability and security. Evan has a proven track record modernizing municipal systems (mobile field tools, ML-enabled licence-plate scanning, geospatial tools and CMS integrations) and instituting CI/CD, branch-per-issue workflows and standards like ASVS and OpenID Connect. He’s equally comfortable rescuing failing projects for government labs as he is guiding new product innovation in the private sector, and prides himself on clear stakeholder communication throughout the product lifecycle. An engineer-manager who champions practical tooling and process improvements, he’s known for turning complex requirements into usable, trusted systems that measurably improve operations and citizen services.
