Top SchoolEven Zhang is a software engineer with nine years of experience specializing in networking, SDN, Kubernetes, and virtualization, currently building a Kubernetes-based PaaS in Taichung, Taiwan. He has contributed to the ONOS SDN controller in Java and implemented integrations across KubeVirt, OVN-Kubernetes (DPU parts), and the YuniKorn scheduler using Java, Go, and shell scripting. Previously he developed low-level switch protocols and diagnostic tooling in C and supported web and RESTful interfaces, giving him a rare full-stack view from silicon diagnostics to cloud-native orchestration. Known for customizing controllers to bridge diverse switch protocols and enable programmable network functions, he combines production-grade networking expertise with hands-on platform engineering. He holds a master’s in Computer Science and Engineering and brings a pragmatic focus on operability and hardware-aware software design.
