Top SchoolEvgenii Pavelev is a software leader with nearly a decade of hands-on and managerial experience delivering large-scale e-commerce and payments solutions across Europe. He has led multicultural engineering teams of 16–24 engineers, owned full product lifecycles from PoC to production, and launched omnichannel grocery platforms used by tens of thousands weekly across multiple countries. Known for improving reliability and delivery—reducing defects threefold and enabling multi-provider payment failover—he blends technical depth in Java/SAP Commerce Cloud with a pragmatic, technology-agnostic approach. As an empathetic manager and mentor, he has run 35 skills assessments and helped ~30 engineers achieve promotions through structured feedback and career coaching. He also brings program-level coordination experience (SAFe + Scrum), stakeholder orchestration across 80+ integrations, and a track record of shipping cashierless checkout PoCs and cross-border eCommerce rollouts. Based in the Netherlands with a background in applied mathematics, he pairs analytical rigor with people-first leadership to turn complex multi-vendor challenges into reliable, scalable products.
