Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolEvgeny Panfilov is a pragmatic software developer with 11+ years delivering backend and data-focused solutions for major financial institutions and as a freelance engineer. He brings deep hands-on experience with Murex integration, ETL, Sybase/MS SQL optimization and Unix automation from roles at Sberbank, Raiffeisen and Troika Dialog. Comfortable across languages—Lisp, Clojure, Java, C#, Python—and with statistical tools (R, Julia, kdb+/q), he blends systems programming with quantitative thinking to solve tricky domain problems like trade matching and repo mechanics. Equally at home writing shell scripts and containerizing services with Docker, he favors durable, auditable solutions over flashy one-offs. Based in Moscow, he pairs an engineer’s formal training in radio engineering with a long history of financial systems work, making him adept at bridging low-level data plumbing and higher-level business logic.
