Top SchoolFabio Caldas is a senior software engineer and technical leader based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with over 14 years of professional experience and a 20-year background in .NET ecosystems. He has driven high-impact engineering and data initiatives across banking, e-commerce, and enterprise IT—leading teams of 60+, building microservices and internal libraries, and ensuring 100% uptime during major sales events. Fabio pairs hands-on C#/.NET expertise with platform-level work in observability (Splunk), NoSQL, and cloud/Kubernetes deployments, notably accelerating customer onboarding with a one-click Splunk deployment. He’s delivered measurable operational wins—cutting report generation times by 30%, migration coding effort from seven days to one using AI-assisted .NET tooling, and reducing analytics bloat by over 60% through governed Power BI datasets. Comfortable both managing large teams and shipping core backend services, he’s known for translating complex business constraints into reliable, auditable systems. Outside delivery metrics he brings a builder’s mentality from early CMS and tax-system work to modern cloud-native architectures.
