Senior🎓
Top SchoolFabio Salvini is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building and scaling event-driven, data-intensive platforms from Italy's Veneto region. He has led platform initiatives at Targa Telematics to support millions of vehicles and now helps a 50+ engineer organization at Gorgias migrate to Flink-and-Kafka-based architectures, authoring company best practices and large-state Flink jobs for SLAs, AI enrichment and metrics. Comfortable across DevOps and data stacks, he manages Kafka Connect/Debezium, Flink Operator, and infrastructure on GKE with Terraform while enhancing observability via Datadog and analytics with ClickHouse and CubeJS. He brings a pragmatic balance of hands-on engineering, system design and operational rigor, and has a background in data warehouse design and university-level tutoring in OOP and compilers. An understated strength is his focus on maintainability—serialization, state upgrades and schema evolution—helping teams adopt robust, long-lived streaming pipelines.
