Senior🎓
Top SchoolFaraz Borghei is a software engineer based in Vancouver with 8 years of hands-on experience across emulation, hardware integration, and IT support. He maintained and expanded a 10,000+ line Python framework for Cadence emulation and FPGA prototyping, built CLI automation tools, and contributed to next-gen data center solutions leveraging CXL/PCIe/NVMe and SAS/SATA. His background spans low-level electrical engineering—designing PCBs for an FSAE electric vehicle—to large-scale service desk and desktop support roles, giving him a rare blend of hardware awareness and production software discipline. Colleagues rely on him to bridge firmware, platform validation, and vendor coordination while keeping builds and Linux hosts stable. Outside work he channels his technical curiosity into blockchain and AI, and balances that with snowboarding and family time. He’s the type of engineer who pairs meticulous automation work with practical on-site troubleshooting, making him effective across the full development lifecycle.
