Senior🎓
Top SchoolFelix Gast is a software engineer based in Paris with eight years of experience building payment and collaboration products across startups and scale-ups. He led a team of five at Spendesk to migrate customers to an in-house payment institution and has deep hands-on experience in cards, bookkeeping, approval flows and wire transfers. Before that he helped build a Notion-like editor with real-time collaboration and integrations, showing a taste for user-facing complexity as well as backend reliability. Now at Datadog, he bridges product-driven engineering with observability at scale. Trained as a physicist at ETH Zürich with exchange experience in Sweden and Hong Kong, he brings analytical rigor to system design and a habit of turning ambiguous problems into practical, testable solutions. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and curious, consistently shipping useful things rather than perfect ones.
