Senior🎓
Top SchoolFelix Tsao is a software engineer with a decade of experience building low-level systems for autonomy, imaging, and embedded platforms across Bay Area robotics and hardware startups. He has contributed to device drivers, firmware, sensor fusion calibration, and factory bring-up at Cruise, Light, and now Zoox, bridging software, hardware, and manufacturing teams. His background includes FPGA-based data acquisition and GPU-accelerated signal processing from roles at NASA and University of Wisconsin–Madison, giving him uncommon depth in real-time systems and instrumentation. Comfortable in both field integration in Shenzhen and high‑stakes vehicle software, he combines hands-on prototyping (3D‑printed camera arrays, VR demos) with production engineering rigor. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Felix brings a practical blend of embedded expertise and systems-level thinking to autonomous vehicle challenges.
